Era notte inoltrata quando Gio Cane scorrazzava libero tra le strade di una città illuminata dai lampioni.
La luna era appena coperta da qualche nuvola e tre ceffi con spranghe e mazze cominciarono ad inseguirlo.
Gio Cane iniziò a scappare.
Quattro uomini si scaldavano davanti a un fuocherello acceso di fronte ad una chiesa.
Gio Cane si avvicinò a loro, i quattro uomini videro i tre ceffi e li mandarono via, sorrisero a Gio e dissero: “Dai Gio, raccontaci le tue storie".
Così Gio Cane cominciò a guaire ed ad abbaiare.
It was late night when Gio Cane roamed free on the streets of a city lit by streetlights.
The moon was barely covered by some clouds and three thugs with iron bars and clubs started to chase him.
Gio Cane began to run away.
Four men were warming themselves in front of a small fire lit in front of a church.
Gio Cane approached them, the four men saw the three thugs and sent them away, smiled at Gio and said: "Come on Gio, tell your stories".
So Gio Cane began to whine and to bark.
